First pane

Worked on www.capitalonemortage.com, a portal based on EM3 iOn content management system. The main foucsed areas were User research, Interaction design & Usability testing. Dealt with complex JSP widgets & JavaScript based buckets using CMS.

Second pane

Worked on a project called "Jump-Start" an e-commerce web application. I was responsible to develop the user interface derivation from business processes including its wireframe & prototype. The tools used during the development were XHTML, VISIO, CSS & ASP.NET in Dot Net environment.

Third pane

Worked with Google's CHORME team to analysis the browser's behavior for rendering HTML DOM objects & CSS properties. It was an intensive project w.r.t CSS properties. The responsibilities involved bug tracking, reproduction & filing with analysis report.

Fourth pane

Worked with Ebay's Direct Marketing Group to develop a dynamic campaign's for www.eBay.com, The tool used during this project was Flash-CS Action Script 3.0 framework, Flex2.0, XML and TeraData.

Fifth pane

Presently working with Apple, its an another very challenging UI Engineer position with wonderful opportunity, where I'm learning new things everyday.

Why my portfolio is designed in Black & white ?

I'm a natural artist & designer with an engineering background. I feel that black & white in some cases looks better and smoother. Black and white is more cohesive and has more unity, especially in an environment, we control all gray color combination. It has a different feelings, different emotion than color does. It can also have a more honest and quiet feel. And thats why i decided to design my portfolio in black & white shades. My creativity is here for your reviews, i would be glad to hear any comment on it.

What tool do i use for web designing & development.

The design process i follow.

Information Gathering ( A very first step to collect information [cotent], ideas, goals, purpose, requirement, target audience & some reference or samples, if any.)
Site map ( A visual model of a Web site's content that allows users to navigate through the website. )
Wire-framing ( A basic visual guide for interface design to suggest the structure of a website. )
Prototyping ( I usually prototype a Web page in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator where I can use the layers to show or hide alternative elements, moving them about the page until I get a LOOK & FEEL that i'm happy with. )
User experience ( An understanding and designing a user's experience from start to finish. eg: Is the product findable? When you get it, do you understand what it is and then how to use it? And if it works, is it desirable? )
XTML & CSS ( I use CSS to describe the presentation semantics - the look and formatting for XHTML markup language based webpage.)
Image Processing ( Image processing involves preparing an image to convey the essence of enterprise and use for informative purposes. As the images are very effective in communication between any company and the viewer. )
Server side programming ( I use ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, JSP & ColdFusion for server side programming. )
Testing & Publishing ( A process involve testing of performance issues like loading, cross browsers, resolutions & user interactions. Once i receive the approval [go], publish the web content to www.)
Maintenance ( A process involve future changes in webpage with respect to content or its functionality. )
